Dianne Lucille Springsteen, 80, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. She was born on October 30, 1945, in Niles, Michigan, to the late James and Esther (Gold) Springsteen.

Dianne will be lovingly remembered for her joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a special fondness for shopping and dining out, with a particular love for McDonald’s—where a Happy Meal was always her favorite treat. Dianne had a remarkable memory for birthdays and holidays, never missing an opportunity to make others feel remembered and cherished.

She will be deeply missed not only by her immediate family, but also by her extended family at Oak Lawn AFC. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Sherry, Lisa, Vicky, and Sid for the exceptional love, compassion, and care they provided Dianne over many years.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, Duane Springsteen.

She is survived by her brother, James (Andra) Springsteen; her nephew, James (Melissa) Springsteen; her niece, Bethany (Donald) Lighthart; as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jeff Oliver will officiate. Dianne will be laid to rest at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
