Jerry Lee Sink, 76, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Niles, Michigan.

Jerry was born on June 27, 1949 in Dowagiac, Michigan to the late Garland Sink and Janet Maechum.

Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his siblings, Lloyd Sink and Teresa Yakim.

Left to cherish the memory of Jerry is his loving wife, Thelma Louise (Benson) Sink; children, Donald Kirschbaum and Daniel (Anita) Kirschbaum, and sisters, Barbara Phillips and Bonnie (Jim) Justus.

Jerry lived a life defined by the open road and simple pleasures. He spent over 45 years driving semis, finding peace and purpose behind the wheel. The highway wasn’t just his job — it was his home, where he witnessed countless sunrises and logged miles of memories.

In his quieter moments, Jerry enjoyed watching classic westerns, especially Gunsmoke. He admired the strength, grit, and steady character of the Old West. He also loved riding motorcycles, feeling the wind on his face and the freedom of the ride.

Jerry will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the road, and the independence that defined his life. He leaves behind many stories, countless miles traveled, and memories that will be cherished by those who knew him.

Visitation for Jerry will be on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a Funeral Service to be held at 12:00pm at Brown Funeral Home, 521 East Main St. Niles, Michigan 49120.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
