Mark Alan McDonald, 63, of Niles, Michigan, passed away on April 4, 2026. He was born on September 5, 1962, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mark is survived by his parents, David McDonald and Helen (Dunham) Hartley; his children, Dalton McDonald, William Totten, Josh McDonald, Jeremy McDonald, and Chase McDonald; and a host of beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick McDonald, Shannon (Mike) Baisch, and Karen McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dylan McDonald, whom he now joins in eternal rest.

Mark found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He had a passion for recreational activities and especially loved working on old cars, tractors, and RC cars. His hands were rarely still, and his hobbies reflected both his curiosity and his craftsmanship.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his hardworking spirit, and the quiet joy he found in the things he loved.
