Rebecca Jean (Nichols) Hoffman, 68, of Niles, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Niles, Michigan. She was born on April 16, 1958, in Lebanon, to the late James Nichols and Mary Sutherland.

Rebecca was united in marriage to Ricardo Hoffman on June 6, 2008, and together they shared many cherished years filled with love, laughter, and family. Left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Ricardo Hoffman; her children, Jason (Rusty) Nichols, Shawn (Michelle) Nichols, Richard (Jenni) Hoffman, and Tonya Burch; her beloved grandchildren, Dean, Seth, Josh, Trey, Preston, and Miya; and her siblings, LeAnn Reid, Jim Nichols, Darren Nichols, and Ronnie Nichols.

Rebecca found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening and took pride in canning the vegetables she grew with care from her garden. She also enjoyed sewing, spending time with her beloved pets, and sharing conversations over a good cup of coffee. Rebecca’s presence and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
